Pretty Horrible

Yes. I saw it solely because there was nothing else on and I gave it a shot but it was not my cup of tea. Throughout the whole entire episode, they build these girls up to be something powerful musically; especially the lead. Then, they sang. And I'm left wondering...."That's it?" The music is generic and their voices are worst than Rihanna's. The lead can't really sing, none of them can.
When the black girl was confronting her dad and shredding apart how his music has no feeling, I was thinking the songs she would write for her group would be something groundbreaking but it was the common pop drivel. I'll pass, I don't think I will be watching next week.
I think the show is also trying too hard to be gritty.
