I have seen at least 2 instances where the JP theme could, and in my opinion, should have been used.
The only time they use it in full glory is in the end credits. Unearned in my opinion because thats the only time we hear it at all.
Its a pity and I think they should have tried to put it in more.
Very weak score. I was surprised to learn Michael Giacchino was the composer, as he felt more absent than usual. Felt like he threw together 15 seconds of the main JP theme and the Jurassic World ending theme, and the rest was filler.
shareI agree - an oddly lackluster score from someone who usually turns in strong work. I found myself drunkenly belting out the famous theme at various points in the film, as one does.
