One big problem with the story....
OK. First off - this is NOT a post to bash the films Evangelical Christian POV. It's something I noticed about the storytelling.
It seemed strange and implausible to me that Grace was all alone during her ordeal. Does this strong, pleasant Evangelical Christian woman not have a Church family to support her? No Pastor/Minister to council her and stand by her side through her ordeal? In fact, it's mentioned during the court case that Grace once invited someone (the Robin Givens character) to a Church function. So where is the support of this Church when Grace's faith is on trail in a National news story? For instance, when the redheaded Reporter (who has been healed on Cancer) talks to Grace after the trial Grace is seen getting in her car all alone. She has not a single friend, family member or Church acquaintance to go with her to court for moral support? We do see the protests outside the courtroom and at the school. And there is the scene of the students singing outside her door to show their support...But no friends her own age to support her? Not one? Not a single family member aside from her invalid Father? It seemed unbelievable that Grace would have no one in her life to show her some compassion during her ordeal.
