Ray Wise's character felt so stereotypically evil, I expected them to play Lex Luthor's theme from "Batman v Superman" whenever he entered a scene. It's completely unsurprising they'd get an actor who's played the Devil who knows how many times at this point to be the evil ACLU lawyer. The second this ended, much like with the first film, I rushed to get my copy of "Th Tree of Life" into the Blu-ray player.

Of course, in the real world it has often been the ACLU which has defended the Christian and other religious people! (If anyone doubts that, you can easily look up online lists of famous cases where the ACLU defended the Christian's religious freedoms and freedoms of speech. I say that because it is true---and the fact that I often dislike the ACLU for other things it does cannot be an excuse for dishonesty.)
