Everyone needs to settle down!

First.... I am a Christian.

Second.... I am very familiar with Court Protocols.

1. When Plaintiff Attorney was cross examining the retired LAPD Detective, and he went on to explain how he found his faith, and the Plaintiff Attorney asked for the the comments be stricken, and the Judge agree. BS.... He (Plaintiff) opened the door. Everything from that point on would be record.

2. When the young lady broke into the Courtroom... most likely that would result in a mistrial. She would be arrested for contempt of court. A very serious charge. In NO WAY would she be allowed to testify. Lawyers share their witness lists far in advance of a trial. There are NO surprise witnesses. So again... BS 3. The defense attorneys diatribe at the end.... where it appeared he attempted to destroy his own client, would end in a mistrial. Any Court would have stopped it. Again... BS Now.... I am amazed that the life of Jesus is not allowed in Schools. Regardless of your faith or non faith, it is documented that he lived, was crucified by the Romans at the demands of the those of Jewish Faith (at that time). There is also evidence and documented history that he rose from the grave.

Why this is not allowed to be taught in World History Classes in our tax funded schools is beyond me.

History is what it is... when as a society attempt to rewrite it... for any reason... we become like the Nazis. Very dangerous!

NOW... As Jesus Christ was a historical individual... and that cannot be debated, WHY can't his life be included in World History classes? The opposition says, well let's have Mohamed included in World History classes. Fine by me, make sure it is included that Mohamed rode a horse named Baraq to the heavens to get his orders!

Let the facts of history be known, so that we may all learn and not be ignorant, but knowledgeable!

Who among you hates me for wanting our children to learn the truth about our past? Let it fall!

I would be amazed if the life of Jesus was not permitted in religious classes. Perhaps you have an instance where it is so "not allowed"

The only 'evidence' for Jesus resurrecting appears in the gospels - it is not mentioned by the occupying Romans, or even mentioned by contemporary Jewish writers, who might have been expected to have noticed such a remarkable and pertinent event.

The gospels are not primary documents. They appear, at successively later intervals from the events they purport to describe, and were most likely originally written in Greek, while scholars agree that they are based on earlier documents, notably a supposed 'Q'. They are anonymous, with the attributed authorships being ascribed, with more or less reason to, later on. They copy and sometimes contradict each other, occasionally feature glaring interpolations, and sometimes contain outright, checkable errors (EG in local geography or the idea of the 'census' which brought Mary and Joseph). In short they are hearsay, which we can see represented explicitly in their respectively being "according to...".

I am very familiar with Court Protocols.

In which case you will know that hearsay is not the best evidence, even when a court allows it as evidence at all.

One can accept that a man called Jesus once lived and died since that is an ordinary claim and the gospels are good enough, in fact more than good enough, to support such a claim. Extraordinary claims however, such as someone came back from the dead and was a god incarnate, need a little more to convince.

If interested I can reference many historical documents, Judaism, Muslim, and even some by Atheist. But if you are closed minded, don't waste my time.

Again, He lived, documented, died, documented, rose from the grave, documented. But forgetting all that if you want to, he had a significant influence on World History, whether one agrees for the good or bad is their choice to interpret. Not yours!

Why is this historical figure not allowed to be taught about in World History classes? Is it fear, ignorance, or just prejudice?

I just detest when so called Intellectuals, ignore or attempt to rewrite history. History is history, it happened! Let our children learn it, and make up their own minds. Or is there something you fear from.... free thought?

Please reference then some contemporary, eyewitness, primary documents which evidence or witness the central Christian myths, at least outside of scripture. Will that be a problem?

As already mentioned, the main accounts of the life and teachings of Jesus are third party narratives written years after his death. And of the gospel accounts, the only two events subject to "almost universal assent" among scholars of all types are that Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist and was crucified by the order of the Roman Prefect Pontius Pilate.

After that we have to wait until Josephus' Antiquities of the Jews , not written until 93–94 AD, which includes two references to the biblical Jesus in Books 18 and 20. The general scholarly view is that while the longer passage, known as the Testimonium Flavianum , is most likely not authentic in its entirety, it is broadly agreed upon that it originally consisted of an authentic nucleus, which was then subject to Christian interpolation or forgery [Wiki] - surprise, surprise.

But forgetting all that if you want to, he had a significant influence on World History, whether one agrees for the good or bad is their choice to interpret. Not yours!

Don't tell me how to think about history. This is not a dispute over whether the influence of Jesus has been good or bad so I am not sure why you feel you ought to make this point.

Why is this historical figure not allowed to be taught about in World History classes? Is it fear, ignorance, or just prejudice?

Please link to where Jesus is prohibited from being mentioned in world history classes.

You are entitled to your opinion, but the suspicion is that you see a process at work when in fact there is none, outside of conspiracy theory at least. To say that the life of Christ is 'ignored' or 'rewritten' in western culture just does not stand up to scrutiny.

History is history, it happened!

The only two generally agreed main historical points about Jesus have been mentioned above. Just because one is emotionally attached to the impressions given by traditional and popularistic Christianity does not mean that they should not be considered in the cold light of many generations of biblical scholarship, or the logic of making extraordinary claims based on hearsay.

We also know muhammad existed and there's just as much historical writings on the life of buddaha too.
Sure thing we can talk about christ in history, right along side muhammad & buddaha.
