Just like the first film....
The premise is based on something that would never occur in reality. I guess both these films take place in a Twilight Zone-esque parallel universe.
The best part of this movie was watching Ray Wise ham it up as the evil prosecutor. Man, he was hamming it up more than Ian McDiarmid did as the Emperor in Revenge of the Sith. It was so over the top, but it was amusing to watch.
As for the case itself, it was ridiculous. There would be no need to argue it the way they did (trying to prove Jesus actually existed), because the teacher simply answered a question (which is why this whole thing would never even occur in reality). She simply explained how Christian beliefs informed MLK's actions. Also, isn't it odd that the teacher, represented by a public defender, is able to get all these "expert witnesses" to testify, but the ACLU doesn't call any to refute them? Plus, why is she represented by a public defender? Oh, I forgot that these films take place in a Twilight Zone-esque parallel universe where the Alliance Defending Freedom and Focus on the Family also don't exist.
Pureflix has much better films than this in it's library. This one is ridiculous.
Perpetual outrage is the most popular religion today.
