Good movie

It seems a lot of banter has been thrown at this movie despite it getting great reviews from non-atheists. Looks like reviewers here must hate Christianity so much but I liked it. Typically people miss the other 75% of Christian movies which have a more peace, love, helping Christian side (i.e. I am excluding apocalyptic movies like left behind and so on). Its story line was different from the first movie and despite the atheist stereotype this actually is happening out west in the United States but not necessarily all of it by atheists. Take a look at schools in Oregon. I loved how the lawyer depicted a perfect example of an in-person devil-type character. People typically misunderstand the old testament like they do this movie as an atheist hater movie. Even Jesus repeated the famous scripture that appears multiple times in the old testament in various forms: "I desire mercy not sacrifice". I meant to say overall that Christian's are meant live at peace with each other and the rest of the world. I think we might see some more bartering/helping towards the end of the third movie as to keep some repetitiveness out.

Great? It barely even discusses the movie and lies about how "this actually is happening out west in the United States", which is utter nonsense.

Not only that, but as Faustus pointed out they're very rarely reviews of the actual film.

The positive reviews pop up all the time when I enter the page. No "seeking" was required. Just providing some balance to the page.

This assumption that people who dislike the film must hate Christianity if a false equivalence.

In any case, not one person who likes the film has been able to explain to me why the teacher did not simply explain that the was talking about MLK's Christian beliefs influencing his actions when she was confronted? Why didn't she just simply clarify what happened? Why immediately jump to the defensive and start bringing up all these other issues that just confused and blew up the issue?

This part is completely unbelievable, and it make the rest of the film ridiculous.

So fans, how do you justify this? Do you simply overlook this issue and go along for the ride?

That's the only thing I can think of....

Setting aside the fact that we have three resident Brit atheists chiding this film full-time for which GND2 they didn't even see, and a total of six Brit atheists, one Canadian atheist to two from the European continent on the GND board.

But other than that, most of the Christians that watched these two films liked GND and GND2 just fine.

In the interest of full truthful disclosure, Jan was one of the few Christians that hated GND.

That the teacher would not simply clarify what happened in the classroom. That's what any real teacher worth her salt would have done.

Funny how this "review" barely even talks about the film nor discusses anything about it.
