That was the first time I ever saw anyone lose.

That was the first time I ever saw anyone lose on this show! Of course, they brought it upon themselves. They should have just stopped after the second challenge, took the money, unlocked the door and sped back to the Hellevator. Buuut they had to succumb to greed, which did them in!

I hope we get more than four eps, which is what Wikipedia is saying. I know that Halloween is the last day in October and all that, but I hope they give it more eps in December or something like that did last year! This so is so spooky and neat!

I was surprised to see that when more than one person makes it to the inferno, they can still only do challenges one person at a time. There is really no benefit to having two or three people make it through to the last round-- I thought they would all get to go and help each other, but it seems that is not the case. They could at least have a TV monitor so that the teammates can provide help from down the hall like they do in the first three challenges. Since the prize money is so much less this season, it would seem more fair if the team gets to keep whatever money they win in the first three challenges no matter what happens at the end. Though I guess that is not in keeping with the implication that you are stuck there forever if you lose.

Well, they did. Remember they could see her try to do the last challenge and they were screaming at her to look harder. I think her female teammate even told her to look in the toybox. She was the one who didn't listen.

Of course, who told them to do that last challenge in the first place? They had the key, 5,000 extra dollars, and only TWO minutes left. They still had to find their way back to the Hellevator. They should have just stopped at the 2nd challenge and ran back!

Though I admit it was strangely touching to see the Twins so happy they hug. I saw a few interviews with them,. and they seem to be so very nice outside the show. Shows ya what good actors they are.

I hope they give this show a few more episodes in December like they did last year. I know October is Halloween but people still go see scary movies any day of the year. Though I did year that this IS coming back for the third season!

It was rather amusing. But when you mix greed with a little bit of stupidity, they can't blame it on anyone but themselves for walking away empty-handed.

Honorable mention though, to the girl in one episode of the first season. Her trip to the labyrinth for extra money was just priceless. I'd have to say that's the episode where the least amount of money was one, while still winning some. I won't give away any spoilers for anyone that hasn't watched the first season of Hellevator.

Yeah, seemed like there was an opportunity to win more money in the first season. The rooms of seven deadly sins still give them an opportunity to win as much as possible, but there's more of a risk of blowing it. IF they don't get greedy. If I recall, the biggest prize in the ten episodes so far is the group that won $51,000. For a game show that doesn't really have the budget or backing to give away just tons of money, that's not too bad.

It's not the best show in the world. But it's certainly entertaining enough to give it a chance. And I do hope they make more episodes this season than just the four that they have.

It's like The Rocky Horror Picture Show, it won't win any awards (though I do think the Soska Sisters should win one, they're great actors. Seriously, watch any interview with them on youtube and you'd see they're actually very nice!), it's not destined to be a classic, it's not perfect, but it's harmless fun!

It certainly makes more sense than Scare Tactics. I mean, don't get me wrong. I love Tracy Morgan and I'm glad to see he's fully recovered, but what the hell is THAT show doing on GSN? It belongs on TRU TV or something! It's not even a game show!

Yeah, that was a priceless ep. It's like, "Girl, when you're done screaming, ya wanna finish this show?!"

Maybe they thought they made the 1st season too easy so they used the Inferno to up the difficulty.

Yeah, when I first heard it was gonna be based on the 7 Deadly Sins, I thought we'd get 7 eps. One for each sin. But maybe they will bring it back over December like they did last year if enough interest is shown, I hear it does trend every week! I think it's been renewed for season 3 according to the sisters.

You're right. It probably won't win any awards. Then again, you might see the sisters pop up on some MTV awards show, or the Scream awards. Whichever it is that honors the horror genre every year? I could see them pop up somewhere like that if this show was to get a larger viewing audience and more exposure. I do kind of agree about Scare Tactics. Maybe they figure this show is a good lead-in for a show like Scare Tactics. I honestly didn't know it had come back on with new episodes after Tracy Morgan got to feeling well again. It's one of those shows that if I come across it, I'll watch it. The pranks they play on there are a bit more hit-and-miss these days. But still worth watching.

With Hellevator, what you see is what you get. I had found it by accident, so I watched it.I found it entertaining enough that I felt like I had not wasted my time with it. It's entertaining enough. There are enough stories and urban legends they can base each episode on. Even repeat basically the same story, but based on different people and characters they make up.

Yeah, maybe they did figure the first season was too easy in some ways. Something to make it a bit more challenging, or change up the theme, just to keep each season fresh. Or at least this one different than the first season.

For the viewer, it's more for entertainment to watch. It's certainly not going to scare the viewer, though it might gross them out a bit. I'll give them credit for the lengths they go to on all of the different sets. The time, the setup, the props and everything else to go along with them probably takes a good while to set up for each episode.

I can see where someone watching this would wonder or question why these contestants would get as scared or freaked out as they do. They know it's some kind of a game show and no one's going to get hurt. There's the pre-production, eligibility requirements and paperwork to sign before they bring these people in to tape an episode. But it's a dark and creepy place. Easy to watch in third person and not be affected by it. But to be there in the first person, even if you don't scare that easily...characters jumping out, all the little scare tactics they use, the visuals, and completing the tasks...I can see where it would affect some more than others.

Although I feel some of these contestants have lived somewhat sheltered lives and maybe really haven't been put in a position where their fears have been tested. The contestants are younger in age, at least compared to me, so I can give it some slack and see where it would be a bit more nerve-racking participating than just simply watching it.

Some definitely do handle it better than others. And like the girl we talked about. She was so frazzled and scared, it was nothing more than a race for her, of how fast she could run through the labyrinth and not grab ONE DAMNED DOLLAR, only to get back to the hellevator as fast as she could. Then, just plain common sense and not listening to the advice your teammates are giving you to benefit completing a task. That one guy did his own this and didn't pay attention at all to what his teammates were telling him in how to solve it. Think it was the first guy on the same episode??

Yeah, the twins are great and are a lot of fun behind the scenes. Both very nice, but they're playing a part. And you can tell they're having so much fun mocking and making fun of the contestants, basically being able to say whatever they want in their sarcastic tone. Really, talk about a fun job. And it comes off that it's basically their show, though there are a good group of people behind the cameras that make it all happen.

For something that's not going to save the world, but is just simple and fun entertainment, it's definitely worth watching and I'll catch the new episode each week. Already something I've recommended to a few friends in just saying, "give it a try. Watch a few episodes. If you like it, great. If you don't, you haven't wasted much time on it." But fun and clever enough to stick with and I do hope it has been picked up for a third season. I hope it is trending and more people will find out about it.

Honestly, there are A LOT worse shows on tv today than this one. It already has more credibility than most of the "reality" shows on tv today. I'm a bit picky, but it's a lot easier for me to praise or recommend this show than bash it or tear it down. No reason for that. Looks like we'll continue to be avid viewers of this one!😉

Yeah, especially those slackers. LOL! I mean, if I told MY parents I was 'taking a year off cause I wasn't ready for school', they'd yell at me at the top of their lungs and force me to get a job! And that girl who was saying her parents 'Nag her about everything', I was like, "That's cause you're not working! And you want an apartment?! You only get 50,000 the most that you have to split with the others, where do you think THAT will get you?!" Needless to say I was TOTALLY with the Twins there, and I actually cheered along with them when they won!

Well, from what I heard this show does trend on Twitter every week, so a good number must be watching. In a Facebook Q & A the sisters did before the new ep, they did mention ideas for season 3, so that's a good sign! I hope they put out some new eps in December.

Then, just plain common sense and not listening to the advice your teammates are giving you to benefit completing a task. That one guy did his own this and didn't pay attention at all to what his teammates were telling him in how to solve it. Think it was the first guy on the same episode??

It was BOTH guys in the episode, which is why she ended up alone. The first guy didn't get ANY of the clues. I got two out of the three. His own teammates were even screaming that it was BLUE with STRAPS (the straps was what I couldn't get). He missed the letters on the wall even though they were there in plain sight. But I couldn't make out the middle one. It looked more like a P than an S to me.

The third guy was SOOO dumb! He didn't listen to the Twins at all! The distinctly said he had to figure out the patters and fill in the missing number. But all HE was doing was give her every number on the wall. You're supposed to give her the MISSING one, jerk! Again, I got three out of the four before time ran out. I would have been squished, but at least I would have made more progress!

I didn't hear of them before, but after the first season when I found out they were actually horror movie icons, I looked them up. They're really smart girls, they learned to read Stephen King novels in grade school and they were both in the Honor Society. Twisted Twins is their production company they founded. Though...truth be known I'm probably not gonna be watching any of their movies. I got a very sensitive stomach. :)

And I know what you mean about being scared when you ACTUALLY go on the show. I mean, I'm not crazy about the dark. so having to move around in a pitch black room with no lights at all knowing that there are actors playing crazy zombies and whatnot around that could grab you any minute WOULD freak the hell out of me. :) I think I'll just stick to watching the show!

I know, that was so crazy!!!! I felt really bad for the contestants. Maybe I'm naïve because I want to see the good in others, but I kind of wished they could have at least kept some of the money. Growing up isn't easy, especially in today's world. There's a lot of pressure thrown at you to take charge of your life and just one mistake can really affect you for the worse. People naturally want to cling to what's familiar because they're naturally afraid of the unknown. Also, having to solve a puzzle while having people scream at you and worrying about what's going to jump out at you makes an already difficult situation even worse. All I'm saying (to everyone) is to give the contestants a break and try to understand things from their points of view. But, I do agree that they should have stopped after the second room. Honestly, if you got money without having to work a job for it I think you should just take it.

On a less deep/preachy note, that hug that the Soskas shared at the end was adorable!!! I just melted when I first saw that part! They play off of each-other really well and are undoubtedly one of the best aspects of the show!I really liked how they actually apprehended the contestants themselves in the first two episodes. Also, I swear that they were laughing harder than they had before in any other episode!!!! I guess they just loved scaring the heck out of those kids!

Finally, I'd just like to say that the Envy room is my favorite room in the Inferno. It was simple yet complex and innocent but disturbing. Also, it kind of formed a mini-story in my overly-analytical mind.

I am from YouTube. I totally thought it was you! How surprising that we just happen to run into each-other! I came on IMDB to find other fans of the show that I could communicate with. I don't really have anyone else that I can talk to about this in real life. My sister listens to me and sometimes she continues talking about the show but even she gets tired of hearing me talk about sometimes. I understand that because I tend to bring it up almost every day. I just enjoy it so much and I can't stop thinking about it.
