I wish GSN would do a marathon of this tomorrow. Friday the 13th and all that. But nooooo, just more Family Feud! God, does Steve Harvey OWN this network or what?!

Yeah, it is pretty annoying how little attention they give the show. It seems like Family Feud is GSN's Sponge Bob. They air it constantly because it's been on the air for years and it's incredibly popular! I'm not trying to say that GSN is scummy like Nickelodeon, at least there's no proof of that (yet), but this is one detail that kind of bugs me. In fact, one problem that I have with GSN in general is that there's very little variety. Aside from Idiotest and Window Warriors, most of the shows follow a very similar format or idea. That's why I didn't pay much attention to GSN until I saw Hellevator. In fact, the first time that I saw it was on Netflix not GSN. I get that it probably isn't as popular right now as some of the other shows, but new materials take time to gain popularity. I'm pretty sure that Family Feud wasn't an immediate success.
shareI don't know if this show is even gonna come back with a season 3. Mainly for 4 reasons.
1. The hosts are not Steve Harvey or Ben Glieb. Usually shows that do not star these two only make it through about two years.
2. GSN recently took the pictures of the twins off their Twitter page and on the side of the Twitter page that has links to where Facebook pages of their other shows are, Hellevator isn't there.
3. The 2nd season was on Friday night at 9, NEVER a good place, and it had only 4 eps.
4. What with the recent events going on in Canada (where they live) they might not WANT to come back here! Especially if they're feminists as is rumored (but I hope that's NOT true! I want to respect them so much for all they do, but I can't respect people if they're pro-choice or hate men!) So even IF the show is renewed for a season 3 they may not come back and the producers might hire two more twins to be the hosts.
Buut that's just my hunch. It might be renewed, they might NOT be feminists and they may LIKE it here. But we'll have to wait and watch.
