The cops
So two murdered cops in a house. How exactly is that going to be explained by the survivors? It's not like they can lay blame on a supernatural entity and expect it to be believed. Are they going to have to make out out their mother killed them, even though she's innocent in all this, and a loved one? Anything else would raise suspicion on themselves, right?
Hmmmm not quite the "everything's going to be alright" ending that's portrayed in the film.
