Does this mean the Tarantino Trek Project is dead?

Or is this a rival project floating around Development Hell?

I hope Tarantino has found another project, because he's the last director who should be allowed to touch "Star Trek". I mean, I'd rather see Woody Allen direct a Trek movie, that's how wrong Tarantino is for this material!

I think so. Plus his idea for Star Trek sounds like fanfiction. I think it was an expansion on that episode where they dress up like gangsters.

I didn't like Tarantino messing with Trek either. I'm relieved he's gone. They need to hire a writer and director who are creative and respect the original vision.
