Destined to be a future cult classic film

Every critic video I've seen of this film has been negative, and it currently has a 38% on RT and is bombing big time at the BO. I think this film will very much become something like The Thing or Blade Runner; people weren't interested at the time but decades later it is highly appreciated. While I don't think it'll be as loved as either of those two films, I still think this will be one of those film that'll gain a huge fanbase over the years, one of those films where fans will discover alot more in depth commentary about the film than what present critics see.

ACFW will be a lot more well liked and understood in 2037 or maybe even 2027.

So you believe this movie needs a... cure for understanding? (Pow!)

No, really, can you state a bit more detail about your opinion on it? What do you see this movie as bringing that will stand the test of time?

To me, when I watch Blade Runner, I am enraptured with the atmosphere and the unique personality it displays. And what The Thing brought to the table was that palpable paranoia that, for example, Tarantino mentions was the driving influence for the tone in his latest offering (The Hateful Eight). What are the qualities that you feel would be driving a resurgence in popularity in a few decades?

its a shame it's so long away, I'v seen quite a few articles stating its destined for cult classic status. and to be honest I think I might already be apart of that cult 'cause I loved this movie and am damn sad its no longer showing in my local cinema so I can't re-watch it, gonna have to wait for the DVD.

And to answer what would make it a classic Kameeleoned_out I would say this movie have a very strongly individual atmosphere and personality, the amazing cinematography and score alone carry a curtain atmosphere. The acting is great to, and while yes it is not a perfect movie with a few plot holes and a mildly confusing back story which I thought was pretty understandable as the clues where relieved throughout the movie. It made you think and think about how it connected and what all the little things meant and I loved that. The Critiques are vastly wrong on this movie just because its a lil weird and a bit ambiguous (I say ambiguous because the detail put and hidden into the movie is no accident) by the director they stoned it when it really really diddent deserve it.
