How did Becky make a call to her own phone and how did she know that Cal hurting Travis was the reason they would remain in the loop?

She just doesn't want Cal hurting Travis... she didn't know anything above that.
(I don't know if she found a phone in the mud, but why not.... cause calling yourself makes zero sense).
