Many movies with Will Smith actually are. Lately its enough for me to see him on the cast list to not be interested in the film. Not only are most of his movies incredibly cheesy but also often very pretentious and just trying way too hard.

No kidding! Reminds me of that old SNL mock infomercial skit they used to play in the 90's, when they show a couple in love doing several different things together to the sound of romantic music, and then all of a sudden the camera pans out to both of them taking a dump in two conjoined toilets. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgoUB80ld5U
