I know many people are hyped, but does anyone think this looks pretentious as heck? I've seen both trailers, and both look like a film that thinks it has so much to say, and ultimately just wanks on.
I really hope I'm wrong.
Cheap sentiment always works at Christmas time. The Bells of St Mary's reduces me to sobs every damn time I watch it... the original " The Bishop's Wife" with Cary Grant as an angel in a business suit...just kills me.
So, I'll keep my Kleenex close at hand and try to keep my nose from running.
Not only pretentious, but horribly cornball. My wife was cracking up at the wanna-be meaningful dialogue.
-There is no such word as "alot."
I've endured this trailer a couple times in the theater, and it has to be one of the worst trailers ever.
