Agreed. I don't get the public's need to tear down celebrities, or put them so high on a pedestal for that matter. Wtf is the fascination with these people's personal lives? Geez, they're just people doing a job.
I think Will Smith is awesome. I think he's a great actor. I have no idea whether he is a great person irl, but so what? I don't know anything about my doctor's, dentist's, or plumber's personal life, I only care that they do their job. He's had good movies and bad, but a bad movie doesn't negate his actual talent or skill. And frankly, while it's none of my business, I don't think he's done a terrible job parenting. Why are we so concerned that his kids are a little different? I think it's great that they are comfortable with who they are. Jayden is interesting and seems like he would be a tolerant and compassionate person, and while he may not be your cup of tea, or mine, I would fight anyone to support his safe self-expression. They aren't hurting anyone, so ffs, let them be. The public is the worst bully out there.
As omoxus said, they aren't getting arrested, and aren't in the news on the regular for drugs, violence, or any important reason only stupid speculation about their relationships, sexual orientation, or what they wore etc., all of which affects use IN NO WAY, so what is the problem with the Smiths?
