Worst Opening of Will Smith's Career

The movie is a major flop and is only projected to gross $6 million this weekend while is almost more than half it was estimated to. Smith's career really has gone downhill 

He wanted this to flop...sometimes you have really talented individuals and something just goes wrong. I think Smith saw this didn't turn out to be how they'd hoped and probably didn't want it to make a lot of money and impressions on his career.

Regardless he was in a bad film, thats not good either way.

And why sign up for something that just sounds literally on paper awful?

The problem with Smith these days is the guy seems attracted to only two types of films: high schmaltzy Oscar bait movies or high concept fantasy/sci fi movies. He's becoming Johnny Depp and just needs to play regular characters in a decent drama or even a fun comedy. His act is starting to get old.

Well no one is on top forever.. I don't get why people are getting on his case.. He was on a high for many years and now there is a bump in the road for him. Personally I think he is confused to what suits him in this day and age in his life.. He is heading 50 and can't be the action type guy forever. I think he is trying to find others roles that suits him as he gets older... For me I think he does well with horror sci fi type films.. He should put romantic oscar bait roles aside.. for now.
