How did this sh!t script draw such a solid cast

Will Smith sucks, but many of the supporting players are better than this nonsense. Did nobody read the script? Was this supposed to be a comedy?

That's what I can't understand! Dame Helen Mirren, Kate Winslet, and the most mind-boggling is Edward Norton! He is notoriously picky about scripts and the fact that he signed onto this sappy cheesefest is astounding.

Norton has pissed off so many people in H-wood that he is now doing horrible films just to keep his name out there. IMPO it's his fault he is where he is. as for Smith...bout time he was bought down a peg or two with that arrogance of his. his last 4 films bombed.

When Alfonso Gomez-Rejon quit the directors job, Variety reported, "Sources tell Variety that Gomez-Rejon felt as though he was directing an entirely different project than the one he had signed up for."
