Some of you missed the Collateral Beauty of the movie...

I came out of the theater 4 hours ago, and I am still thinking of this film. It is the type of movie that, while a little obvious in plot, is told so well that you can't help but laugh and cry. I left feeling that love is really all around me and that time shouldn't be wasted. I wanted to hug my friends, call my family members, be polite to strangers... It is supposed to be about the message, and the message was beautiful!

Very cynical world right now. Everybody's in a rush to see Rogue One.

Wow, I got to see this movie. My brother thought it was great. What brings down the ratings are American views & American critics. You got to be be human with a heart to "get it". So if one is not in touch with your feelings but afraid of being seen as weak or sappy or even loving, then it's not so likely to be appreciated. I hate to say it but non-Americans liked it much better, both critics & regular viewers. So it requires one to be grown-up, individuated (become your own persona, live your life without a script or for somebody trying to please them like your dad or peers).
IF YOU LIKE THIS MOVIE YOU'D ALSO LIKE/LOVE AUGUST RUSH.

I'm an American and just saw it an hour ago with, fyi, many other Americans. I've been waiting a long time for a movie like this to be made. It was absolutely beautiful, filled with ideologies I've been saying for a long time. We are all connected and every single thing matters...and love is what it's all about. It's what it is always ever about.

And as for your message about us cold and heartless Americans---what can I say? I grew up always hearing how British people only loved dogs and horses, and give two $hits for people and their feelings. Should I believe it?

But guess what? I didn't listen to the media and the negative messages they portray and ended up traveling quite extensively in the process. You know what I found? We are all more similar than not. So, try not to spread a ridiculous stereotype that you most likely picked up from some type of media source, via Hollywood movies or realty shows, and actually go to middle America and meet a few people. You might just surprise yourself.
