There was honestly almost no horror elements in this movie at all. Even the jump-scares from the trailers were just editied that way and aren't even actual scares in the movie. For so much of the build around this movie being a Superhero Horror filck, there was none of it here.

shareThis movie went through so many re-writes and got shelved so many times. I am not surprised that the finished product didn't match anything that the marketing billed it as.
It wasn't a horror flick at all.
The pg-13 rating was the first sign of this wasn't going to be a horror movie.
