I'm literally 50 minutes into the movie and there's no plot! the kids are just in the facility doing things, being at class with the doctor, remember the past... there's no story!
And what's with their accents? Sometimes Illyana speaks with a russian accent, also Rahne with her accent and Sam with southern accent and somethimes their accent disappeard
Yeah. I'm all about a deep dive character study, but these characters hardly ever talked about themselves. I think they each had one little scene where they talked about their past. The accents were absolutely hilarious. Honestly, it kept me watching. The end was just a video game. Both boys were totally useless. This was definitely made for teenage girls.

shareAt the very end Maisie started talking all Irish again, or whatever, and it was shocking. Hey, you haven't been talking that way for over an hour! You can definitely tell there was multiple reshoots for this. There's also the weird story lines that go nowhere, like the other hospital and stuff. Things happen and then are never mentioned again.

She prevailed afaic though, but it was Anya Taylor-Joy who stole the movie for me.
hated her at first, but by the end, those stockings, all ripped and her saucy attitude.. yeah so what I'm easily pleased by eye candy hehe..
Yeah, when the movie finally became an X-Men movie, it was awesome.
