Another scripted, staged, faked pos "Reality" competition show... the channel that still has the nerve to call itself HISTORY, is a disgrace to the word "History", and an insult to those with an interest in "History programing"..

Damn right it is. It's another bogus competition show that is entirely staged for dramatic effect. I happened to catch an episode of this show today and watched it. It was complete bs in every way it was done. Just more crap to lure in the simple minded people who love dumbed down drama because they can't handle anything that makes them use their brain. Those 8 hours at work are too much for their craniums so this is what they go to to unwind. It's these kind of people that every network is catering to.
I too would love to see an ala' carte system too. Eliminate at least 50% of the cable networks out there and it can work. Most of them are completely unnecessary. An ala' carte system would easily wipe out those that no one is watching.

I agree 99% with you. The "reality" and drama are so whack, BUT... I can watch it the same way I watch "Deadliest Catch"... with a jaded eye.
The only reasons for the 1%?... just one... I'm intrigued by the way swords and knives are made. I CAN do without the contrivances, but I will watch it.
Oh... and if you think THIS is bad... try getting through an episode of "Leepu and Pit Bull".
Again... the ONLY reason to watch... CARS! I can skip through the contrived BS to get to the end result, much like I do with "Counting Cars", "Fast N Loud", "Pawn Stars" (Chumlee's an idiot, and now they have the WORST back stories EVER) and did with "American Chopper"..
