Finally got to watch this:
I liked it very much. Kept pausing it to yell at some characters and events. Bates was great and minimally optimized as usual.
shareSame here, just recently saw it. I decided to watch it because RBG passed away. Looks like a lot of it was changed or added in to make it more entertaining. I can't really say if any of the actors had a "moment". They all did really well but nothing Oscar worthy etc.
Still a good movie though. I'd give it about a 7.8 out of 10. I think Jones captured the grit and determination of RBG and that's basically what the film set out to do. It gets big marks in this regards but I think sticking closer to the actual story of RBG would have made the film better. But if you have any interest at all in RBG, I would recommend it.
