I wasn't innocent, I was 15

When Cam tells her he fell in love with her at summer camp because she looked so innocent, and she was like no, at 15 I was already hoing around, lol. she definitely has a little of her mother in her

Also Woodbury seems very small, wouldnt Cam and Sarah been in the same school. why did they meet at summer camp when there houses were walking distance from each other?

reply

Who knows. If she didn't notice him, she's as stupid as I thought. How does one not notice a hottie like Cam? Sarah should have considered herself lucky. 

reply

Sarah's character was weird. I think she said that to be cruel. Throughout the series she looked as if she liked Cam. Of course she did. She obviously knew him, saw him and like a ho', lusted after him.

reply

Her comment didn’t refer to her ‘being a ho’. What she was saying was that no one is innocent and Cam needed to realize this. Cam had unrealistic expectations for people. If you guys actually paid attention at all you would know that she didn’t grow up in Waterbury.

reply

I guess you were't paying attention....it'w Waterbury. (Totally just busting your chops with that one). Anyway, I'm biased..I'll always side with Cam.

dawno1000,

"Her comment didn’t refer to her ‘being a ho’. What she was saying was that no one is innocent and Cam needed to realize this. Cam had unrealistic expectations for people."

EXACTLY! i agree w/ you.

Cam is older than Sarah by around five years (which is why he said he should've waited for her) so I doubt they'd be at the same school. What I find weird is that this 20ish year old guy fell for a 15 year old. Then again he's not the only cop in Waterbury who had a thing for 15 year olds.

reply

Right. If you like 15 year olds in become a cop in that weird town.

reply

I'm not sure the context there was "I was fifteen, I was already a slut".

I think that line was really meant to be a criticism of men (oftentimes villainous men in media) who fetishize women's "purity", to the point of dehumanizing them. Sarah was sort of saying "I'm a human being, not your gross innocent fantasy".

reply

That was weird that she brought up the age. I also read into it with her coming off as a ho. I mean look at her gma and mom. It ran in the family...and town.

reply

I think she just said that because he wasn't in love with her as he purports with his drivel about innocence, he was just lusting after a younger girl.

reply

I think I kind of took that line as her saying that she wasn't "innocent and pure" by choice, like because she had high standards and "self-respect" or something (like Cam was probably assuming), but that she was innocent and pure by default, because she was only 15.
