Goof?

In ep 8 when she's "reading" the camp magazine and sees the picture of young Cam holding a picture - the close up of the picture seems to be a whole other picture???

reply

You are correct. In the wide shot, he's holding a picture of one of the 7 deadly sins, and in the close up, it's a weird campfire with demons.

SOOOOOOO many screw ups in this show, it's really quite amazing. This was a show much better suited for the 80's where audiences weren't as smart and up on the horror/slasher genre in this post Scream the movie, (it's sad that I have to specify movie or the show because the MTV crap is an abomination) world.

I hate to break it to you, but audiences in the 80's were just as smart as they are today. You are merely showing the hubris of the young.

You guys are missing the point.
It IS a different picture, she's an artist so what she was noticing was that the same style of drawing was exactly the same as the killers drawings.

reply

I can't believe so many of the posters above didn't realise that she was just noticing that the pictures were drawn by the same person rather than being the same picture. Whole point was that the demons were drawn the same.

reply

You're right.

When we first see his picture, it's a wider shot, and he's holding the Gluttony drawing.
When she notices it and we see a close-up of it, the drawing he's holding is of goblins around a campfire with a tent in the background.
So, yes, presumably she's just realizing that the drawing styles are similar to those of the Seven Deadly Sins pictures they'd found in an earlier episode.
But when she gets out her massive phone and compares the pictures, it's the wider shot again and he's holding the Gluttony drawing, which is the same picture she's seeing on her phone.

So yeah, they messed up in a few different ways there.
