Fav Characters?

We're a good ways in, so figured now's as good a time as any to ask.

Robin is really the only one I like, though he unfortunately doesn't have as much to do now as in early eps. Though I suppose Allison was effectively hateable

All of the characters are interesting but I don't find any of them very likeable besides Robin and Cam. That will most likely change if one of them is the killer.

reply

supergirlxx110, i feel the same way you do. many/most of the characters are interesting enough but the only ones who even come close to being likable are Cam & Robin.

I found the grandmother to be entertaining so her early demise was disappointing. Other than her, I'm not sure if there are any characters I find amusing other than Robin.

I will say I think Cam, Trent, and Justin are/were all nice to look at on a completely shallow level.

reply

mahou, i agree w/ everything you wrote! this show does have/had some nice male eye candy. LOL.

reply

Definitely Robin and Cam. I also feel like if Sonya was given more to do, she would be a favorite as well.

I'll also say Justin, but just because he's sexy lol.

Is it horrible to say Tom is my favorite character?

No BS or crazy talk from him, as he said he's the only one who hasn't lied to Sarah.

I think we'll find out a lot more about him and the first murders in the next few episodes. His tirade after reading the paper makes me think there's a very good reason (in his mind) that he did what he did. I'm also on board with the Tom-is-Sarah's-father idea.

The 4/8 description says he breaks out of prison because he believes Sarah is a target.

Milo, I've told you again and again - please, don't walk on the chickens!

None of the characters are all that great to me. I like Sarah I guess. I liked Alison as a bitch but I feel like they should have waited another episode or 2 to kill her. I loved the grandma but they killed her way too early as well.

Nope! I'm with ya on liking Tom, and I, too, believe there is much to come from Tom in his being the one that is going to lay it all out there for us to know the ENTIRE backstory.. This will happen by way of him opening up to Sarah(and yes, I too believe it will be after his jailbreak)..as shown in some of the newer promos where he's laying in a hospital bed with Sarah at his side, she asks him to start from the very beginning and tell her EVERYTHING..I think this will be how we, as the viewers, are filled in on all of the why, what, how, when, and where there is to know about the storyline, and plot-points of the show.

I do hope this particular tv-series does get it right, as IMO, its the most critical piece for the viewers..so much so that its these scenes and the way in which they're handled that will either make, or break, a television series.. I've recently seen so many shows literally go from being entertaining, and enjoyable, to belly-up tanking due to their failing at this critical point of the show where we are being finally clued in on all the backstory, along with key points and details that we are purposefully left in the dark about, in building tension, suspense, etc.. when a show fails to handle this critical part of a show it just really, really, really sucks, big time!

And thats why I am so hoping that this particular show gets this right because it really will have been a great, little, short, 8 episode horror tv series, and those are even fewer, and farther between than good horror films(though, honestly, both are pretty scarce these days).

Anyhow, keeping my fingers crossed as these last 3 episodes air!

I liked June. They should've kept her on there a little longer.

Yeah, I thought she had potential to be interesting. Shame.

The characters aren't as memorable a as the ones off of Scream Queens or even MTV Scream but so far :
I like Sarah- she's an "okay" lead. She's a step above the Abby, Emma & Grace definitely and she is avid in her hunt to find who the killer is. I just wanna see her take the killer on in combat.

I liked June- she would've been interesting, I wanted to see if she'd redeem herself somehow. I wish they hadn't killed her so suddenly or at least gave her a chase.

I like robin- he's entertaining and is a cool sidekick to Sarah. I do still suspect he's somehow involved in the killings

Brenda, June, Robin and Sarah.

WALKING DEAD IS SO DEAD WITHOUT ANDREA!

reply

Cam, Robin, Ariel's mum who everyone though is crazy but she reunited with her daughter. :)

reply

Agreed! Loved Cam and Robin. Felt so bad for Ariel's mom, I'd be nutso too. I was so happy when she reunited with her daughter.

reply

Just getting into this on Netflix. Robin reminds me of my cousin, so I'm totally with you there. I didn't find any of the characters particularly detestable. I really did like Tom, though. He was odd but had depth to him. Plus the actor who plays the younger version of him is absolutely gorgeous.

reply

I liked Tom too, thot he was really good looking with all that reddish greying hair and freckles altho with his colouring hard to see Sarah as his daughter but I guess her mom's genes ruled. Good casting for actor who played young Tom as well, reddish hair and some freckles.
