3 times

I tried 3 times to watch Fifty Shades of Black. I remember seeing the trailer before it was released in theaters, and I was thinking, wow this is going to be hilarious!! Thank goodness, life happened and I never went to the theatre to see it, instead I waited for the Redbox rental. I'm not sure this has anything to do with it, but I am a black female who LOVES the Wayans, and I've seen most things produced, written by, or that they've starred in. I'm easily amused, but maybe chuckled 3-4 times over the 3 times I tried to watch the movie. I won't get into specifics, but I did not find any humor in the movie. I really like the lead actress Kali Hawk and felt she was a good comic match to Dakota Johnson's "Anastasia Steele". Very disappointing, maybe I'm just getting older??
