Season Finale

It was a pretty good episode but they tried to fit way too much into one episode.

and too much relationship drama by the time the shock ending came it had less effect than it should have had.

reply

Instead of letting some of these relationships develop organically, they just kind of threw them together just for the sake of pairing people up. You get Will and Natalie... but although Ethan and April could make an interesting couple... they just threw them together at the last minute. I don't like Noah and I like Reese, so I don't like that pairing... would've preferred that they put her with Latham in spite of the age difference. Yeah, I wonder if Oliver Platt wanted to work on something else because they kind of set it up so he could leave. I have no idea if he will because I don't read spoilers and try not to look at casting announcements... but it just felt random and rushed.

reply

Agreed Will and Natalie fit together because they have been close since the start but Ethan and April seems so random and out of nowhere since they never even noticed each other before. Noah and Reese same thing although they seem to have more chemistry together.

reply

The only thing we know about Ethan's love life is that he likes black women... but until the last two episodes they haven't had much interaction so it's just throwing together two major characters because they don't know what else to do with them. I thought Tate was boring so I'm glad he's gone but the writers should've shown some build up instead of just putting two attractive people together like a Tinder hookup. If Reese could show chemistry with her previous boyfriend she can do so with anyone... no offense to the actor, but I just don't like Noah's character.

reply

I liked April with Tate, but outside characters rarely last more than a short while on episodic TV. It's unfortunate, but those relationships are always doomed, even if they could be interesting with a few appearances by the guest star a season.

And, yeah, the April-Ethan hookup seemed too out of the blue.

reply

Tate was boring... if April was more interesting then maybe it would have been okay... but the combination was terrible imo.

Saw a report from December saying that a major character won't be coming back for season 3 but no other details. The show has been renewed, that's good news.

reply

Yeah then it's probably Dr. Charles... but glad the show's still going strong.

I love Chicago Fire-cried the other night at the finale-great cast. I loved Law and Order-the original circa 1990 and so i watched chicago med bc S. Epatha Merkersen is i it and she's great as well as Oliver Platt who is also quite good. I just don't like the redheaded doctor he has no charisma and seems narcissistic and actors are supoosed to hide that. I liked the Asian dr.(don't know his name)and his nurse\girlfriend but i also liked the dr. Who left the show and dislike the brunette "with the new haircut"lol.
Anyway it's an ok series for me but I love all the guys on Chicago fire:, Cruz, Christopher, Casey, Otis, and especially gorgeous Severide. I also love Stella and Severide!!!!Finally a beautiful, intelligent witty woman on tv. I cannot stand Gaby who i also find narcissistic and a control freak. I wish she was in the building instead of Casey, Herman and Mouch.
Finally i need to express how awful Chicago justice is! After 27 years of awesome law and order Dick Wolf comes up with the worst actor-winchester and razzie worthy Carl Weathers for his next show! I looove jon seda so sometimes i'll sit through it.
Thanks for letting me rant,Sentient Meat-I Love Dick wolf!!!

Halstead (redhead) started out bad, but they've kinda fixed his character. Natalie's character isn't bad, but the actress although beautiful isn't very good. I never saw much of Fire... one day I might go back as I like Med.

I watched the pilot for Justice on the cross over and it was so bad that I never gave it a chance. If I hear enough people like it maybe I'll try it... but it sounds like my first impression was right.

I don't think the one who cut her hair is pretty at all. Her face is too long and nit symmetrical she's notpretty. The black nurse is at least pretty. Natalie is so plain and that's another thing i was going to mention with chicago pd-it's like how do you get more plain characters onto one show. Seda was the only good looking person on there. Burgess is unfortunate looking so they give her implants and the gravelly voiced chick is soo plain. I guess because it is set in the midwest they haven't hired any knockouts.

I promise you fire is the best, best plot, best actors. Forget justice ,Winchester is So bad it is realky masochism to watch it. So i just watched the beginning with Jon Seda because he is gorgeous-look at him i thought no one else but i could look 15 years younger but he does it and he's a guy!

More on pd-pd is the second best but as i said it is boring aesthetically due to the cast. They had switched out adam for a cute guy named kenny and i was a little hapoier visualky because i had seda and "kenny"but then they brought adam back and lost seda!!!!
But pd's plotline is very similar to law and order's first half;that is, minus the courtroom.

Ehh... it's a matter of taste. Yaya Da Costa has a more classic feminine beauty... delicate features etc... while Natalie does have a more masculine jawline... but I think most people would find her very pretty. Poll your friends though if you don't believe me. Can't comment on PD, haven't seen that yet either. But thanks for the recommendations.

reply

I was watching with a group of friends. It is a matter of aesthetics. I have a square jaw but my features are symmetrical. We all agreed on her appearance and lack of character. Interestin gly We also agreed on the ginger and Oliver Platt. We have good taste. See ya.
