I thought they are going to put her together with Halstead? At least that's what they've been implying all along since he has that crush on her.

But that falls within that tired old tv trope of the will they/won't they.

He has a crush, she shoots him down, he falls for someone else, she wants him but he's unavailable, he secretly still wants her, etc etc etc until inevitably they end up in bed together (or they have a big fight and kiss at the end). But by the time the writers finally put them together, viewers are so tired of the back and forth that it will all seem forced.

They do this on practically every drama now between two coworkers whose only thing in common is their workplace.

Me either. I don't like the character or the actor. Maybe a different actor would bring something to the role. But this one is just so meh, i don't understand why we're supposed to like him.

Are they not setting up Natalie with Jeff Clarke? The look on Will's face when he saw them walking out laughing and chatting at the end of the Season was the look of someone who knows he's got competition, or even missed the boat altogether.

I wouldn't count Halstead as a potential love interest for Nat down the road - just SAYING !! I don't like the doctor Natalie is dating right now, something about him gives me bad vibes; did Nat and her new doctor boyfriend know each other before she married her husband? Like knew each other for years or something? If so, this doctor could've always had a thing for Natalie...

while i'm interested in the father/daughter dynamic, why does every character on these shows have to have a love interest that is always around? i watch all the chicago shows and i even like them pretty well, but i do wish they were a little more like the original law and order. the drama was focused around the cases of the week with personal lives just sprinkled in here and there to make the characters more dimensional. considering er and grey's anatomy have already done to death the whole everyone in the hospital sleeps with everyone else in the hospital thing, i wish this one would focus more on the procedural part of it.

I'm with you regarding all the sleeping around stuff and had a thread about that on one of the other Chicago shows. Let's stick to the medical drama and leave out the bedroom drama!

It's odd that there is such a big age difference between Dr. Charles youngest school daughter and his older Dr. daughter that I actually thought a mistake was being made.

i think at one point in season one he mentioned being married three or four times. i'm sure the girls are from different relationships, so the age difference won't be so odd.
