I didn't know Doctor Charles had a young daughter

She looks to be what, about twelve or thirteen. I had thought if he had any offspring they would be grown.

Same. I was expecting her to be his granddaughter instead. Both Alec Baldwin and Kelsey Grammer both recently became fathers again even though they're old enough to have grandchildren now.

He does have an older daughter, a doctor, who is coming to the hospital soon and hooking up with Dr Rhodes! ;-)

Platt's actual children were born in his mid to late thirties, and I think they are 17, 19 and 21.
