Halstead Can Be Such A Prick

He is threatened by Jeff's relationship with Natalie. Jealousy rears its ugly head. Plus, Jeff is WAY hotter! Hey, he was in the service AND he was a firefighter.

Will can be such a hothead and the total opposite of jay who seems more reserved.

I honestly don't see any redeeming qualities in halstead. He thinks he knows everything and how dare anyone call him out on it....but you better believe he'll be the first person to say something if someone else is out of line.

Really cannot stand him....at all.

The one time, ONE TIME, I did like him was in a crossover when Herman was stabbed. Rhodes had a different method for Herman's care, and of course Gabby, who knows everything as well, didn't like Rhodes decisions, and said something to Jay, who in turn asked his brother what HE would have done. When he found out that Jay had pretty much put him on the spot, he ripped him a new one. He should have ripped Gabby one, but of course, she is perfect as well.

I don't know anybody who likes Halstead. Can they just get rid of him?

reply

I like Halstead

With any luck, he won't get insured. Fortunately, it seems a barista job recently became available. And coffee customers won't put up with his crap like the patients did.

I guess I'm in the minority but I like Dr. Halstead; he's still dealing w/a lot of crap from the law suit which WAS dropped but now he's trying to get Medical Mal practice insurance, and nobody wants to "deal w/him" b/c of what happened. I think Nat/Halstead are a much better match for each other anyway, he adores Nat and her child also they are best friends since forever. Jeff is a sweet amazing guy w/a lot of experience from being fireman, serving our country, etc... but just b/c he has the "whole package" doesn't make him the "right choice" for Nat. We don't know much about Jeff either besides his resume, I need a "back-story about Jeff" before I start falling all over him and drooling.

Hell even Maggie kind of questioned Natalie about her "hooking up w/her husband's best friend" - something along those lines. I think Jeff will want to become more serious and Nat is just having some "fun" for now she's trying to move on I don't think she wants to settle w/Jeff nor Halstead for that matter. She just had a baby w/her husband who is either MIA or dead (we don't know yet, right?; I NEVER miss an episode nor does my son and I told my son he was dead and my son said no MOM he's either MIA or dead, it hasn't been determined yet) Well as I said I think Natalie likes Jeff but she's not ready to settle down and/or call Jeff her boyfriend just yet. As for Halstead I think he should really open his eyes b/c that adorable blonde haired doctor/researcher (not sure what her title is but she works at the hospital) and you can TELL she is so INTO Dr. Halstead, I think they would be an adorable match and maybe he can move on from Natalie, I also think when Natalie sees Dr. Halstead moving on w/his life, dating, happy she will get a "little" jealous, maybe.

jeff is a hot head who seems to think he knows nat better because of their past, he also assumes that gived him the right to date his mates 'widow' it's like bro code or something right ?

jeff also seems to think because he's a fireman people should cut him some slack and he knows better..

halsted is kind of the same on the outside but he has a little more on his plate than manning up (pun intended) to ask nat out.... but as maggie or who ever said last season he better hurry up before it's too late, on the plus side he's there to pick up the pieces when jeff inevitably fails to live up to his own hype.

i forsee jeff making some crucial error or nat is too loved up to notice a key issue either way halsted will be there to save the day and then have to swallow his feelings to save nat.
