She was offered the position of "chief of surgery" (or something like that) at Johns Hopkins. She took the job and left S1E11 of Chicago Med. The actress Julie Berman plays "Lea" on "Casual" (Hulu) and will be in one episode of the Gilmore Girls Reunion: A day in the life as a character named "Serena"
