I know on the show Royal Pains, he was a concierge doctor and I think his patients just paid him a retainer and he showed up whenever they needed a doc
I think the OP meant when they went to the hospital to do test why didn't the guy give his insurance card. The app should have a disclaimer about hospital visits.
