Disrespectful
Using Anton Yelchin's tragic accident as a storyline for the show felt totally wrong. Too soon!

I don't think they were using his death as a storyline.....he's not the first person to be killed when their vehicle has backed over them....I have also seen numerous other shows use this storyline
shareIt's too bad they botched the last speech over the radio at the end. They said the Officer was "10-7." First off, CPD only uses three 10-codes; 10-1, 10-4 and 10-99. The rest is all normal speech. For the agencies in Illinois that use normal 10-code, 10-7 is the code for lunch... the proper code, and with any research whatsoever of Illinois code, would've shown it to be 10-42 (off duty). So the Officer is apparently in an indefinant lunch break. SMH.
shareI just Googled "10-7 chicago police codes" and several different websites have it listed as "out of service" or "unit out of service"
Nice try with the lunch though.
Cause Google knows everything, right? I worked there numb nuts. I know what codes they used and I know what codes other agencies use in the area.
Idiot.
