Is anyone else's skin crawling after that episode with the worms under the dude's skin...? I know they talk about trigger warnings and I wish I'd known this was coming because it triggered me hard. I've been getting goosebumps and have been itchy on and off since I watched the episode...
sharetotally! worms are the worst! I remember there was a House episode with worms on a leg that travelled to the brain, or something like that, It was so gross!!
Other thing that repels me is the thought that one day I might need maggot or leeches therapy, where they put maggots to eat dead skin or leeches to improve circulation. I shiver at the thought of that!!!!
I used to work at University of Chicago Hospital some years ago and I remember that leeches were used on a patient post-op because there was some dead tissue that couldn't be removed the regular way....creeped me out *blech*
But then u see a lot of disturbingly gross stuff working in a hospital smh
