Precious Cargo Fails To Place On Box Office Chart It's Debut Weekend

Poor Bruce Willis. His latest movie Precious Cargo was released this weekend and did not hit the box office chart for the-numbers.com or boxofficemojo. The-numbers.com lists 110 movies and boxofficemojo lists 103 movies. On both charts, Neon Bull appears at the bottom of each list, where it played in one theatre and made 36 dollars. Bruce Willis' movie...did not do that well... 

I think movie is released in handful of theaters only. The promotion was more for seeing it online

I don't why Lionsgate/whomever handles the theatrical release even bothers with it. The money for these B-actioners where Willis plays the villain is on VOD (iTunes, Amazon, Vudu, etc.) and the international market. They must make money somewhere because Willis has been doing them for years along with Travolta, Cage, DeNiro, etc.

You answered your own question. They know how to market these low budget films with actors that like to work a lot because they ALL make money. The fact that they keep making them proves that. I really wish that the crowd that always shows up here to whine about Cage, Travolta, Willis, etc. and profess to "know" how the movie industry works would realize that if these movies weren't making money, they would stop making them.
