Two things that particularly made no sense

I agree with those who say that this was, in general, painful to watch....but the 2 parts that particularly made no sense to me were:(1)it's very common in POS action films that the main characters are going to be cracking wise as the bullets fly by their heads and, in the boat scene, if the story is supposed to be that the 2 main characters are such bad asses and have been in such dangerous predicaments in the past that this is no big deal to them, fine, whatever......but....it makes NO sense at all that a veterinarian who just happened to get dragged into the mess is ALSO going to be sitting there all calm and collected, joining in on the conversation. COMPLETELY absurd and (2) they go through the normal vetting process regarding the crew members.....yet............somehow, in this 500 million dollar caper, they somehow end up with the wacked out wife or girlfriend of one of the characters manning a heavy duty assault weapon.
