A few ridiculous things about the movie
I liked it, but nowhere near as much as the first, although the drugs plot was interesting.
However, I thought several things were silly:
The robot dogs and the robot woman, whatever that did. Seriously? That drugs kingpin invents seriously advanced robotics and the world doesn't take advantage of it?
The cable car spinning like a centrifuge - what the hell was the purpose of that?
The electric lasso that cut a guy in half, but with no bleeding whatsoever - what??
The opening car chase - too much CGI for my liking.
And the kicker: the stadiums filled with thousands of STACKED cages, each holding an infected person!! Where the heck did they suddenly get such resources from? And how did they put the cages on top of each other? And isn't it rather overkill to do that when all you have to do is to just lock all the people in the stadiums and post guards? It's not like they're going to kill each other like in the first movie, now is it?
However, I loved Elton John in this movie, with his cussing of the bad guys and actual participation in fighting them.
