To the OP:
I really don't get how you could claim the show is racist when it's clearly a metaphor about the racism that Aboriginal people have always had to deal from their fellow white Australian citizens for a couple of centuries now. A show is NOT racist merely for bringing up the subject of racism---only racists say that dumb s***. Y'all are just pissed off that anything brings up the subject at all.
And bringing up and dealing with the subject of racism is NOT racist in and of itself---I'll say it again. If you can't figure out the damn difference between the two, look it the hell up. Also, since it's always been the other way around--white people being presented as the good, perfect people or victims, and people of color being portrayed as the evil villains or the dangerous one throughout movie and TV history, nothing wrong with finally flipping the script every now and then. Having seen the whole series, it's a little more complicated and disturbing than that, but all this bull**** you're claiming about the show being racist is just that---bull****. You're just not used to seeing anything about racism from the point of view of people who have actually had to deal with racism as a devastating part of their lives and history. And, of course, you probably haven't bothered to actually watch the whole entire show, like I did.
