Despite being an amazing movie and "not making it about race"

People who only see the world through very finite lenses (like diehard political factionists) will always drag everything towards their preferred mono-dimensional zeitgeist singularity.

Using a Spider-man story featuring a racial minority? It must be the PC libtards pushing an agenda.

Lord of the Rings is based on British people and so doesn't have racial minorities in the cast? Obviously this is some kind of crypto-fascist racism.

It's what makes them so boring and frustrating to talk to (online or in person), too: when all they want to do is get angry and freak out over one issue (even when the issue is important or when there is a legitimate beef with something) it just feels like wandering through an emotional, philosophical slough of ideology.
