Drive is excellent, genuinely brilliant film.

The cinematography is class, Ryan Gosling is awesome, the soundtrack is right up there.

But what do I know, there are no cars driving on ice or from one building to another.

Regarding the cars driving between the buildings, it's something called "suspension of disbelief" which you must apply. Everyone knows that is a stretch beyond possibility. A lot of the movies you rated are fantasy type movies. If you can apply suspension of disbelief to these movies, then why not this Fast and Furious movies???

And I hope you are aware that there are cars designed to run smoothly on ice? They've been around for decades...

Yeah my bad. For some reason i thought it was $900 Million. It's the jumping around country to country with each film like OO7 get's more and more fans. Fast 8 won't hit Furious 7's number, but i think alot of people are predicting 1.1 Billion for #8. I think that's fairly realistic.

I don't think it will hit the billion dollar mark. I hate to say this but a lot of people only watched Furious 7 to see how they will send Paul Walker off. I think it will probably hit around 800m - but I would like for it to break the 1b barrier. I think SW R1 will beat this movie at the box office.
