Not all actors are chasing Oscars. Some people act because they enjoy it and have found a way to make a killing doing what they enjoy. If he started staring in Oscar bait movies I would lose what respect I have for him. (Yes, I am aware nobody cares who I respect, just saying.)

just because actors are nominated doesn't mean that they are chasing Oscars. If Vin Diesel could, he would. But he is a terrible actor.
