I don't care about the movies making a lot of money, they are ridiculous and I am even a fan of them.

I don't think anyone really aprriciates the quality of these films. I think it was the 6th one, vin diesel said "it should win best picture, it won't but it should" this is coming from vin diesel, one of the best actors of his time, just look at the standard of films he's been in! shareI know this franchise really has become truly amazing. Best Picture films usually don't stand out as much anymore. It's the 2nd decade of the 21st century. Action movies are changing for the better, yet the Oscars never change.
