Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Josh Radnor
First, I have to say I've never seen either of them in anything else, so I have no pre-conceived notions about either of them. I am so impressed with both of their performances. Both are real, likeable, and yet very flawed people. Both seem completely true to the period, and despite some less-than-stellar writing and less-than-stellar acting around them, they manage to make every scene they are in riveting, sometimes without even speaking. I wish the rest of the series was as excellent as these two are, although I'm also very impressed with McKinley Belcher and Shalita Grant. They are also perfect in every scene they are in. I find myself impatient when one of these four actors isn't on screen......
