Is this worth paying episodes to see?

It looks like I have to order & see these shows by pay-per view on AMZ or PBS Prime. I just want to know is it worth it?

I've seen all the other Civil war dramas, (the underground, 12 Years, Glory, Roots) and wondering will this be different?

The first season is free if you have Amazon Prime & is only 6 episodes. I think it's very good & I am a CW buff, as well.

It is very good. It's educational as well. Plus Josh Radnor playing a morphine addict is pretty good.

Really? Of all the stations showing this, PBS, I'm surprised you can't find it for free. I like it.

It's pretty intense, which I like. I'm a fan of Mary Elizabeth Winstead, so I'm glad I picked this up.

If you're not taking any steps forward, you're not moving at all.

I like it, but if you don't want to pay, you could probably just read the recaps EW did of last year's episodes and start with this season. It's pretty straightforward once you know who all the characters are.

Try your local library for the DVDs. Sorry to hear we won't have message board after Feb 17.
