Other late 70s NY references

I'll be interested to see if they touch on the Magnificent 13 who formed in 77 (later became the Guardian Angels vigilante group). The founder worked in the Bronx during the time period.

I'd also like to see Africa Bambaataa on screen (he has had a small mention so far) and some nod to the influence of Kraftwerk. I think it would be news to many younger viewers that a German electronic group inadvertently helped shaped the sonic template for hip hop as it developed into the 80s.

Other references people would like to see?

Yeah, Kraftwerk was a big influence on the early Detroit techno scene (just check out Juan Atkins and Richard Davis' Cybotron songs, for example) mainly because their music was only played on R&B stations in Detroit at the time--same with the Art Of Noise---I grew up hearing both in the early '80s. (Apparently their stuff was way too weird for mainstream pop/rock stations back then, lol.) I even got to see them live in the late '90s at the State Theatre (now called the Fillmore) in downtown Detroit back in the summer of 1997. They were only doing a handful of dates on the tour, and of course, they weren't gonna pass up the D, where they got lots of love from the audience during the show. The show could throw in how Afrika Bambaataa's classic "Planet Rock" basically stole a little part of Kraftwerk's "Trans-Europe Express", or something like that.

I'm wondering with all of the recent bad news surrounding Bambaatta that they might steer clear of him?
I'd like to see (at least) references to DJ's Larry Levan or Nicky Siano.
Artists Keith Haring, (SAMO) Jean-Michel Basquiat.
