I absolutely loved it such a great show, anything similar to this?

Only thing I can think of right now is Empire, though it's a lot less poetic.

Here's a really good article about musical shows on TV which talks about both THE GET DOWN and another new hit show that also uses musical sequences,with rap sometimes included---CRAZY-EX GIRLFRIEND (which I also like):
