Justice Smith

No, he looks nothing like Will Smith at all, and he's not related to him either. That being said, he's really coming into his own as an actor in this show--he really pulls the weight drama-wise and makes you feel his character's pain and disappointments, and how he used his rhyming abilities/skills as a way to cope with life's issues, and the horrendous reality of his surroundings. He definitely gives a very compelling,memorable performance as young Zeke, a tough, flawed, but engaging character.

I just saw a film Justice Smith was in recently called PAPER TOWNS, in which he played one half of a pair of adorable, goofy high school nerds who were friends of the main character. A surprisingly good film,too---I honestly didn't recognize him in THE GET DOWN because he looks so completely different from his character n that film. Anyway, he's really cute and I love his Afro in THE GET DOWN---it just adds even more to his already handsome looks.

I agree with you. He looks like lighter skinned Will Smith. And when I saw that his surname was also Smith, it confused me a bit I was like wait a minute I didn't know Will had another son. :) I knew he can't be his son though, but went to check his info to see if there is any relation. It is just a coincidence after all, and the name Smith is really common. But yeah, he really looks like him. He could play Will Smith in a biopic about his life. :D

yeah this really confused me. I knew Will Smith only had one other son who was much older but I thought it was possible he was related. He looks a lot like Will Smith.
