Interview with Justice Smith of "The Get Down"


Finally found an interview with one of the stars of THE GET DOWN---Justice Smith, who plays Zeke Figeroa (the cute one with the big Afro who spits mad rhymes) and it's one hell of a philosophical and thoughtful interview---really enjoyed reading this. Smith talks about how he worked on putting his character together, being a black bi-racial actor and how that directly affects the type of roles he gets; plus dealing with racism in high school, and in regular everyday life:
