"Misty Holloway" Inspired by Loleatta Holloway"?

Do you think the 'Misty Holloway'(fictional singer in the 'Pakoussa remix') is inspired by the real life Loleatta Holloway? The singing styles are very similar, and Lolleatta Holloway was remixed/sampled constantly, including by Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch ("Good Vibrations").
